what if? critical feedback

The critical feedback I got for my project was to have a huge city. I didn't really know how to incorporate the solar power in my drawing. My group said to have it around the roofs and have the air clear and clean. To have a garden in the picture to show some more of the ecosystem.

Some images I wil use is solar panels all over houses. Everybody will have a high solar panel on top of their cars. The outlets will all have solar power. Cars would probalby be going much slower causing less accidents.

First I seen a piece that had a bunch lines that look simliar to DNA then I picked two pieces which I knew that could make some sort of animal. First I thought it was a some mysterious animal then I made it like a Jellyfish. When I did my drawing I had to try try porportion the sizes because the paper I drew on was smaller.

My story as a artist was difficult at times but also fun in some ways. When I first walked into art class my story began. I knew that art wasn't my best subject coming in so I tried to come in with a positive attitude.I felt as every project we did I learned something different like for example the pour painting projects I nevered knew you could drop paint like that and it would become a cool design. Another example is when we was learning how to draw pictures with balance and symmetry. I remembered I drew my self portrait and naturally The picture was balance then on I knew I was learning a piece of art. I had many downs when I wouldn't know what to draw or struggle how to make the object. I pushed and pushed to make sure in my artwork it showed my best effort.Art will hopefully be in majority of my life. Art helped me be a creative thinker and art is everywhere. I feel as everyything that some creates is some form of art.

I loved my light drawing I felt as this was my best piece in art class. My idea was Atlas holding the world in his hands and the globe was giving off a strong light. I used the darker pencils to color farther away from the globe and lighter pencils to color in closer and used my finger to blend in all of the colors and erased some of the lighter pencils to have a lighter color.

skyscrapers

The printmaking project was really difficult for me. I could apply the paint really well but i wasn't good at lining everything up so it could could come out good. I disliked my prints because you could still see the a lot of the background in my buildings. I would definitely pick a different idea and make sure everything would be lined up and easy to cut out.

I think light sometimes can determine what kind of the mood the picture is in. one time I was watching a movie and the main character was spotlighted with the most light because it showed he was most important. I was looking at a art piece and tehy wanted shot the shelf was the most important part in the art piece so everything was dark except the shelf. I feel like light is shown what the artist wants to be spotlighted the first thing catches your eye.

My favorite piece of Alex's is the one of the rat because of the detail and how he made bunch a little shapes to make a one big shape and the tail looks like it's going in between his legs.It fits in with his work because he likes to make little shapes into one bigger shape.
questions
was art always your passion and why?
what do you think is your best artwork?

I shared my my self portrait and said that I made a basketball court and that was the base of my life and then I had my I am's that mean a lot to me in the middle circle on then court then outside of the circle I had things that that didn't mean that much to me. Then I drew two flags the represented my culture. My feed back was to cut it out and add color I anticpate I will finish this in two days.
