end of the term reflection
I think I had a great term this term. I put forth my best effort. Last year all my projects were based off basketball. This year and term I tried to concentrate on other things besides basketball. I know i'm not a great art but I feel as I really improved this year. I really learned to make things look 3d and real. My biggest challenge was drawing my aunt and her son. Before this class I would tell myself never to get frustrated and keep trying.

Heroes Project
I thought about who is a hero in my eyes besides basketball star Kobe Bryant. I decided to choose a different kind of hero. One of my heroes are my cousin Huguito. He is 17 years ago and has a sickness. He is my hero because he has a positive attitude toward life even though he is in that condition. Then I also see his mom as a hero because she has been taking care of his every need since he was born. I'm going to draw his mother holding him and there's going to be a symbolic light around them to show emphasis on them two. In the background there's going to be a banner that says 17th birthday.
Symbolic Still Life (Portrait) Brainstorming
My three objects were a rock, a pyramid, and gray ribbon. These three objects represented my family. I was the rock because I am the son of my mom and my dad. On the rock it has little lost eyes. It shows that i'm still a kid. My dad was the pyramid because he the the man of our household. My mom is the ribbon because she is the one that holds our family together. I will arrange them as the ribbon first then the rock in the middle then the pyramid the third.

windows doors
For this I project I wanted to use a window instead of a door. I feel as a window could be a see through glass window. I began to think whether it should be from the outside looking in or inside looking out. I needed to decide if I want to tell a sad or happy story. My drawing is going to consist of trophies in the backround, a basketball court, and me.I decided to have me looking from my small window and having the light on my window and looking at the court. Outside it's going to be raining and look dark and gloomy. It's going to tell a sad story

what if? critical feedback
The critical feedback I got for my project was to have a huge city. I didn't really know how to incorporate the solar power in my drawing. My group said to have it around the roofs and have the air clear and clean. To have a garden in the picture to show some more of the ecosystem.

First I seen a piece that had a bunch lines that look simliar to DNA then I picked two pieces which I knew that could make some sort of animal. First I thought it was a some mysterious animal then I made it like a Jellyfish. When I did my drawing I had to try try porportion the sizes because the paper I drew on was smaller.
